Officials evaluating impact of flood in Attapeu
An assessment team from the Ministry of Planning and Investment is working with authorities in Attapeu province to evaluate the impact of the recent floods in Sanamxay district. According to initial information from the province, 13 villages with 2,717 families and 13,067 people were affected by the floods triggered by the collapse of a dam at the Xe-Pian Xe-Namnoy hydropower project in Sanamxay on July 23.
